The method involves extracting a part of image representing a vascular structure (11) from a fluoroscopic image (20) of a treatment zone. A reference image (10) of the treatment zone is displayed on a screen. The extracted image is displayed on the screen, such that the vascular structure is superimposed on the treatment zone in the reference image, where the reference image and the fluoroscopic image are displayed in parallel. An independent claim is also included for a processing unit of an imaging apparatus.
