A garbage disposer comprising a disposer body (10) having a disposing tank (11) storing a biological base material, a lid (28) openably attached to the disposer body (10), for closing the charge opening (11a) of the disposing tank (11), an agitating means (13) for agitating garbage and the biological base material stored in the disposing tank (11), and a heating means (heater (17)) for heating the tank so as to keep the inside of the tank (11) within a specified temperature range, wherein first and second temperature detecting means (22, 23) for detecting the temperature Tk of the biological base material and an outside temperature Tg, and a control means (microcomputer (30)) for controlling the agitating means (13) and the heating means (17) based on the detection values by the temperature detecting means (22, 23) are provided. In addition, a third temperature detecting means (21) for detecting a temperature Ts inside the disposing tank (11) is further provided, and the above control means performs control based on detection values by the first through third temperature detecting means (21, 22, 23). |
