The invention can be used for locking and simultaneous sealing different transport vehicles provided with locking units, including freight box cars, refrigerator cars, covers of filling hatches in tank cars, containers, panel trucks etc.The locking and sealing device comprises a wire rope passed through ears of the locking unit of the object to be sealed and a body having an inner cavity, in which a locking mechanism is housed. One end of the wire rope is rigidly fixed to the body, while the free end of the wire rope is passed through an input orifice in the body, fixed in the locking mechanism and leads out through output orifice in the body. The device is provided with a means for deformation (twisting) the wire rope free end after fixing it in the locking mechanism, said means is positioned in a body threaded aperture. The deformation means comprises a detachable handle protruding from the body and a lock head. When screwing the lock head in the body threaded aperture its sharpened tip additionally fix the wire rope free end in the body. The lock head is designed so as to prevent drawing the deformation means out of the body.The invention provides high effectiveness against criminal breaking, increases reliability of the device operation and broadens a range of technical means for securing goods during storing and transporting thereof. Besides, a loss of wire rope deformation means is prevented or it can not be handed over to other persons. |
