A calking-nexus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to secure verticality accuracy and coupling force of the calking-nexus, thereby stably driving a hard disc drive by calking-coupling a shaft and a thrust plate. A thrust plate(400) has an insertion hole(420) formed at the center portion thereof, and a center groove(440) formed at the center of the opposite surface of one surface contacted with a shaft(300). The center groove(440) has a larger radius than the insertion hole(420). The shaft(300) has a coupling protrusion(320) for coupling with the thrust plate. A portion of the end of the coupling protrusion(320) is exposed to the center groove(440) of the thrust plate(400) when the coupling protrusion(320) is inserted into the insertion hole(420) of the thrust plate(400). The coupling protrusion(320) of the shaft(300) is formed into a pressed portion(322-1) by calking work, thereby permanently coupling the shaft(300) and the thrust plate(400).
