A food composition for improving menopausal disorders containing swine placenta extract, health foods comprising the same composition and a preparation method thereof are provided to improve menopausal disorders including osteoporosis, hyperlipemia, skin aging and shrinking of the reproduction and genitourinary system without side effects and rejection symptoms. The food composition for improving menopausal disorders contains swine placenta extract as an effective ingredient, wherein the swine placenta extract is prepared by extracting placenta tissue or villus tissue with acetone or ethylalcohol and its amount is 0.5-80 wt.% based on the total weight of the composition; and the composition further contains protease selected from papain, bromelain, pronase and alcalase and 1-10% sodium acetate.
