<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue the control of a system by restoring data as much as possible even when any abnormality is generated in data stored in an RAM. <P>SOLUTION: In this electronic controller, an RAM stores not only data for control but also mirror data for control having coincident or matching relation with the data for control, data for backup and mirror data for backup. Therefore, even when such possibility that the data for control are abnormal is generated, the data are used to increase such a chance that the data for control are restored.
