<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operation performance and save energy by suitably operating a heater according to operation conditions in a fuel cell system equipped with the heater heating cooling liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel cell 12 generating electric power with anode gas containing hydrogen supplied to an anode and cathode gas containing oxygen supplied to a cathode, cooling liquid supply means 14, 16 supplying the cooling liquid to the fuel cell 12, a heater 30 heating the cooling liquid, and a control means 40 controlling heat generation amount of the heater 30 according to the operation of warming-up mode changeover switch 42 by a user. When the user requests high output, the output of the fuel cell can be increased by increasing the heat generation amount of the heater, and when the user requests energy saving operation, energy consumption can be suppressed by suppressing the heat generation amount of the heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
