<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection apparatus which can configure high-precise information for detected objects. <P>SOLUTION: The object detection apparatus 1, which detects objects from radar and image information, has a radar detection means 2 for detecting objects using radar, an image detection means 3 for detecting objects through images, and a judgment means 8 for judging whether or not an object detected by the radar detection means 2 and an object detected by the image detection means 3 are the same one based on position information on objects detected by the radar detection means 2 and the image detection means 3. The configuration method for horizontal width and/or position is changed for the object determined as the same one by the judgment means 8 based on position relations between data in the horizontal direction for the object detected by the radar detection means 2 and that is detected by the image detection means 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
