<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston type compressor suitably re-circulating lubricating oil separated from refrigerant gas to a suction pressure zone while suppressing leak of refrigerant gas from a delivery pressure zone to the suction pressure zone. <P>SOLUTION: The piston type compressor 10 is provided with an oil separator S separating lubricating oil contained in refrigerant gas delivered to a delivery chamber on the delivery pressure zone of refrigerant gas, and an oil reservoir chamber T storing lubricating oil separated by the oil separator S. A supply passage 41 of the rotary valve 50 is blocked at an end part in a valve/port forming body of the introduction passage 43 by a blocking member 51. Clearance CL is formed between a valve/port forming body 14 side of the blocking member 51 and the valve/port forming body 14.
