PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a facility cost and a running cost of a hot water heater while simplifying installation work and shortening a construction period. SOLUTION: This hot water heater comprises a water heater 2 operating a heat exchanger 4 according to the flow of water flowing through a water supply port to make hot water of a predetermined temperature, and supplying it through a hot water supply port 6, a hot water heating circuit 25 set in a heated point 30, and a hot water circulating unit 7 provided between the water heater 2 and the hot water heating circuit 25. The temperature of the heated point 30 is detected by a sensor 22, and the water heater 2 is operated according to a signal from the sensor 22, whereby hot water is supplied to the hot water heating circuit 25 of the heated point 30 through the circuit 25 to heat the heated point 30. Since the existing water heater 2 can be used, the facility cost and running cost can be reduced in addition to the simplification of the installation work and the shortening of the construction period.
