PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain member for joint capable of securing a space for drainage while increasing the workability of a joint material. SOLUTION: This drain member is installed just below a vertical joint primary sealing material 31 and a vertical joint secondary sealing material 32 inserted into the joint 30 of a building to discharge water W invaded between the vertical joint primary sealing material 31 and the vertical joint secondary sealing material 32. On the upper end face of the member, a vertical wall 15 having a second contact face 14 in contact with the rear end face of the vertical joint primary sealing material 31 is vertically installed at the rear end part of a tubular body having a first contact face 11 in contact with the lower end face of the vertical joint primary sealing material 31. In the member, a drain body 10 having a longitudinal drain passage 12 and a lip piece 21 arranged continuously with the rear end of the drain body 10 and formed in an arrow shape in the lateral direction are installed. An assembly 20 comprises, on the upper end face of the lip piece, a third contact face 23 in contact with the lower end face of the vertical joint secondary sealing material 32.
