PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line communication system with an enhanced communication efficiency by changing a wiring method of a signal line wired to either of power lines of the same phase in superimposing a high frequency signal on each of the power lines by each of injection parts in the power line communication system using the power lines distributed by a distribution board. SOLUTION: The power line communication system 100 is configured to include: the distribution board 10 that distributes the power of a secondary side of a transformer 32 for stepping down a voltage of trunk power lines 30 being high voltage distribution lines to convert the voltage into a commercial power voltage to the power for a plurality of power line pairs (hereinafter simply described as power lines); injection parts 7 (7a to 7d) for superimposing a signal to be transmitted on and extracting a signal to be received from the respective power lines 2a and 3a, and 2b and 3b whose power is distributed by the distribution board 10; a distributor 5 using a pair of signal lines 6a, 6b formed in a loop to distribute a high frequency signal 9 to the injection parts 7; a modem 4 for transmitting the high frequency signal 9; and opposite modems 8, 8a.
