PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel with high productivity which is not broken due to heat generation by discharge during aging. SOLUTION: In this plasma display panel constituted by arranging a front surface substrate wherein a plurality of pairs of scan electrodes and sustaining electrodes are arranged and a rear surface substrate wherein a plurality of data electrodes arranged perpendicular to the scan electrodes and the sustaining electrodes facing each other, a linear expansion coefficient of the front surface substrate is smaller than a linear expansion coefficient of the rear surface substrate.
