PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and automatically reproduce music information suited to conditions without setting information relating to the music information that a user wants to listen to to a reproducing device while taking the music information that the user has never listened to into consideration as well. SOLUTION: A reproduction history sum-up processing part 14 sums up the number of times of reproduction for each music information of resembling condition information and stores it in a reproduction number-of-times summed-up result storage part 15. A recommended piece selecting processing part 16 collates the reproduction number-of-times summed-up result storage part 15 and a music tone information storage part 11 and judges the music tone of the music information for which the number of times of the reproduction is large under conditions resembling present condition information. The recommended piece selecting processing part 16 selects the music information resembling the judged music tone and lists and displays it as recommended pieces on a user operation screen 17.
