PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granular fuel for sintering, which is obtained by granulating fine powder coke without using cement and coal and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The granular fuel for sintering is obtained by mixing coke breeze comprising≥50 % by mass of particle having≤0.3mm particle diameter with one or more kinds of quicklime and slaked lime, granulating the mixture and curing the granule. The method for producing a granular fuel for sintering is provided. The blending ratio of quicklime and/or slaked lime is preferably 3-30 mass% calculated as CaO. The average particle size of quicklime and/or slaked lime mixed is preferably 0.5-3mm. Molten iron desulfurization slag is preferably used as a source for quicklime and/or slaked lime.
