PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding machine which is used by a plurality of users and which has a user management function improved in security by administering each user's authority to operate the apparatus, and to provide an individual user management method of the molding machine. SOLUTION: The security is improved as follows. The users are grouped according to occupational categories (manager, operator, etc.) and each group is given only the operation authority corresponding to each occupational category. When the apparatus receives a log-on from a user, it judges the group to which the user belongs (steps 701-704) and displays the operation picture corresponding to each group (steps 705-709) and thus permits only authorized operations. When no operation is performed for a predetermined time, the groups are automatically changed into a default level (steps 710-712) and thus it is prevented that the apparatus is left standing as it remains logged-on as the user of a high level.
