PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device having high productivity, by shortening down-time in maintenance, by performing the replacement in an extremely short time. SOLUTION: This main spindle device 10 has a rotary shaft 12 capable of installing a tool 11 on the tip, a housing 13 fixed to a machine tool body 1 and having an installation surface 17a opposed to a surface 3b of the machine tool body 1, and a bearing 14 arranged between the rotary shaft and the housing and rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 12 in the housing 13. Flow passage openings 55a, 55b, 72a, 72b, 84a, 95a and 95b of fluid required for at least two main spindle devices 10, are arranged on the installation surface 17a of the housing 13.
