摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide thermoelectric conversion material having a larger performance index value (Z). <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion material contains a compound of M<SP>1</SP>, M<SP>2</SP>, and oxygen (wherein M<SP>1</SP>is one or more sorts of elements and contains, as an essential element or elements, one or more elements selected from a group of Ca, Sr, Ba, and Mg, and may further contain one or more elements selected from a group of Li, Na, K, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Bi, and Pb; and M<SP>2</SP>is one or more sorts of elements and contains, as an essential element, Cu, and may further contain, as an optional element or elements, one or more elements selected from a group of Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni).
