<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, wherein data are leaked from an archive object, when the data are outputted from a driver that is not compatible with archiving to a device incompatible with archiving. <P>SOLUTION: The archive system includes the image forming apparatus that discriminates whether received data have been archived and perform image forming, on the basis of the received data when it is discriminated that the received data have been archived (S10), and inhibits the image formation of the received data, when it is discriminated that the received data have not been archived (S12).
