<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having conductive fine particles which allow stable charge of an image carrier, and capable of reproducing a high-definition image even in an environment at high temperature and high humidity or at low temperature and low humidity. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a charging device charges an image carrier surface with a charging member through the conductive fine particles, and a toner used has a weight average particle diameter of 2-8 μm and a shape factor SF-1 of 100-130, wherein at least conductive fine particles and inorganic fine particles whose number average particle diameter is 60-300 nm have been externally added to the toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
