<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a packaging machine including a fusion-cutting type cutter to switch over cutting and non-cutting while avoiding an increase in size and weight of a driving source of a pressing member and to accept large pressing force required for fusion-cutting when cutting. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging machine includes a cutter structured to bring the pressing member 22 provided on one 11 of a pair of seal jaws 11 and 12 opposite across a tubular wrapper F into pressure contact with a receiving member 23 provided on the other 12 to fusion-cut the wrapper F being sealed by the seal jaws 11 and 12. The packaging machine includes a cylinder 30 for switching a pressure-contact state and a non-pressure-contact state of the pressing member 22 with respects to the receiving member 23 when the seal jaws 11 and 12 are opposite, and a toggle mechanism consisting of a cylinder rod 31 and links 26, 34, 37 and 37. When the pressing member 22 is switched to the pressure-contact state, the links 26 and 34 of the toggle mechanism receive the pressing member 22 from backward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
