BAG FOR USE IN MICROWAVE OVEN, AND METHOD OF COOKING WITH HEAT AND PRESSURE APPLIED USING THE BAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag for use in a microwave oven capable of safely and effectively discharging steam inside the bag when cooking in the microwave oven and keeping the pressure inside the bag higher than an atmospheric pressure to enable cooking with heat and pressure applied, and a method of cooking with heat and pressure applied using the bag.

SOLUTION: The bag is formed by sealing peripheries of a pair of sheet members forming an upper surface and a lower surface. It has a pressure releasing mechanism for discharging the pressure inside the bag by opening part of the bag to reduce the pressure when the internal pressure of the bag rises to exceed a predetermined value higher than the atmospheric pressure. The pressure releasing mechanism has a pressure keeping function for keeping the internal pressure of the bag higher than the atmospheric pressure after the internal pressure is discharged. The bag for use in a microwave oven is thus provided.
