PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer in which an emitter is installed to the cover and which is capable of conducting the light emission display of the operation situation of the disposer and of radiation of ultraviolet rays onto the inside of the disposer from the ultraviolet emitter installed to the cover. SOLUTION: The disposer 1 is provided with a fitting tube 2 installed at the upper part, a case 4 connected to the fitting tube 2 via a joint packing 3 and the removable cover 5 at the incorporation port of the inside of the fitting tube 2. An alternating current flows in a primary col 11, an induced current occurs at a second coil 12 and then visible light LED 6 and UVLED 7 is lighted when the cover 5 is attached and the switch for the disposer is set on. It is visually recognized that electricity is conducted to the disposer 1 by lighting the LED 6 at the upper face side. When the UVLED 7 is lighted, ultraviolet rays are projected to the inside of the disposer 1 and then the inside of the disposer 1 is sterilized.
