PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wiring or piping passing the internal periphery of a hollow shaft from being damaged while avoiding that a specification is forcibly changed, in a direct drive motor having the hollow fixed shaft and a rotating table device equipped with the direct drive motor. SOLUTION: The direct drive motor 20 comprises: a stator 24 having a magnetic pole 26 wound with a coil 25 in the circumferential direction; a rotor 28 having a magnet 29 opposing the magnetic pole 26 in the circumferential direction; and the fixed shaft 22 having a central axial line of the stator 24 as a center. A hollow part having the central axial line of the stator 24 as a center is formed at the fixed shaft 22. A cylindrical body 31 that extends in the axial direction of the fixed shaft 22 and is rotatable in the circumferential direction of the fixed shaft 22 independently of the rotor 28 is press-inserted into the internal peripheral side of the fixed shaft 22. When an external force is applied to the cylindrical body accompanied by the movement of the electric wiring 35 on a table 33, the cylindrical body 31 freely rotates in the direction where the external force is applied.
