PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which is capable of surely guaranteeing quality of sales commodities by taking countermeasures against quality degradation of not only commodities stored in a selling part but also the first commodity in a storage part. SOLUTION: A vending machine 1 including a storage part 31 having commodities stored therein at a normal temperature, a selling part 32 for receiving a commodity G carried out from the storage part 31, and a warmer 7 for warming the selling part 32, is structured to have a timer for measuring a period of stay for which the first commodity G1 in the storage part 31 and commodities G in the selling part 32 stay there, and a CPU which performs such control that sale of commodities in the selling part 32 is stopped in the case that the period of stay reaches a preliminarily set period for quality degradation. Thus the staying period of the commodity G1 nearest to the selling part 32, in the storage part 31 is also measured. When the staying period of not only commodities G in the selling part 32 but also the first commodity G1 reaches the period for quality degradation, sales of commodities in the selling part 32 is stopped.
