PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous display body capable of securing a long light emission time and high luminance. SOLUTION: Display 5 of characters, a pattern, etc., and a luminous layer 5 are provided on the top surface of a transparent resin-made substrate 4. The display 5 is printed on the top surface of the substrate 4 in non-luminous ink. The luminous layer 6 spreads widely on the top surface of the substrate 4 while covering the display 5. Further, the luminous layer 6 is in laminate structure of a plurality of unit layers, which are each formed by applying paste in a screen printing method and drying it. The wide-area luminous layer 6 serves as a light source to emboss the display 5, so a long light emission time and high luminance can be secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
