PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a display device and a display driving device that can shorten development periods and reduce manufacturing costs for various display devices differing in a driving method and the number of pixels. SOLUTION: The display driving device which drives a display device 33 includes a decoding section 11 which processes an image signal, a memory section 12 which stores the output of the decoder section 11, signal output sections 20a and 20b which output signals corresponding to the driving system of the display device 22 according to the output of the memory section 12, and driving sections 31a and 31b, and 32a and 32b driving the display device 33 according to the signals, wherein the signal output sections 20a and 20b and driving sections 31a and 31b, and 32a and 32b are adaptive to a plurality of driving systems.
