PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the resistance of a conveyor belt running over the conveyor rollers, and also to provide an evaluation method of power loss for the conveyor belt, capable of measuring the running over the conveyor rollers and capable of easily explaining the generation mechanism of the resistance of running over the conveyor rollers without having to use an actual belt conveyor device. SOLUTION: The plate 9 for preventing deflection is arranged on the testing area X of the belt conveyor W, and the conveyor rollers 10A for rolling along the belt conveyor belt W are arranged on the lower surface side, on the rolling surface 10a cantilevered strain gauge 21 is embedded, and the strain in the radial direction, generating at the surface of the conveyor roller 10A with rotation, is measured by the strain gauge 21.
