PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter device which enables a dial to be attached easily even when a step exists between the dial and the front face of a case. SOLUTION: The meter device comprises; the dial 12; the case 10 having a recessed section 10a, a mount section 31 and an engaging pawl 34; and two positioning pins 31a, 31b formed on the mount section 31. The mount section 31 is made up such that it can slide when the dial 12 is mounted. The engaging pawl 34 is disposed at a position where it can engage with the inner circumference of a pointer-use hole 12b in association with the sliding of the dial 12. One 12d of two attachment holes is disposed at a position where the positioning pin 31b can be inserted after the engaging pawl 34 engages with the inner circumference of the pointer-use hole 12b.
