PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale measuring easily a length of straight line extending at a predetermined angle to a certain straight line. SOLUTION: The scale 20 is arranged to measure the length of a first straight line 21 and is equipped with a graduation 23 measuring the length a second straight line 22 extending from the one end, at least, at one predetermined angleαto the first straight line 21 to a point crossing to a straight line extending from another end of the first straight line 21 perpendicular to the first straight line 21.
