PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster preventive system for tanks, which carries out disaster preventive actions quickly, adequately, and with good efficiency, on the plurality of tanks immediately after occurrence of an earthquake. SOLUTION: The disaster preventive system 1 for the tanks is a disaster preventive system for a floating roof tank 200, which takes countermeasures against an earthquake, and formed of an earthquake monitoring means 130, a tank operating means 120, an anti-earthquake measure processing means 10, a display means 41, a fire extinguishing means 7, a monitor camera 4, a loudspeaker 5, and a communication means 6. According to the system, the anti-earthquake measure processing means 10 predicts damage of the tank by the earthquake, based on earthquake data, tank operational information, and tank structural information, and based on a result of analysis of the damage prediction, the display means 41, the fire extinguishing means 7, the monitor camera 4, the loudspeaker 5, the communication means 6, etc. are automatically controlled.
