<p>Process for production of glass from a melt of glass residues and/or glass raw materials, halide purification of the melt to remove glass bubbles, discharge from the melt vessel, and optional further processing. Halides, i.e. chlorides or bromides of Rb, Cs, Sc and/or Y and other salts, , e.g. nitrates, carbonates and/or sulfates as well as halides, can be used for purification. An independent claim is included for a glass obtained by the process.</p> |
