A reflector has at least one light deflection/reflection zone for deflecting part of the light from a source onto a lateral zone beneath the light exit aperture (2) of the reflector (1). The light deflection and reflection zone is designed as a reflector part region (7) integrated into the reflector surface (4), and has a structured surface with light deflecting structure. The light deflecting structure deflects part of the light from a source (10), preferably up to nearly 90 Deg.
