Electrically-heatable separating edges and stripping blades for improving the separation of blow moulded parts from excess scrap and dead blowing heads, in which a resistance wire, heating wire, heating tape or the like is built into the separating and cutting edges of the blow mould blade with a hot-melt adhesive and heated to a temperature of up to 1100[deg]C (depending on the blown material) by the application of current and voltage, so as to cut off the excess scrap etc.
