A method for transmitting a packet in the mobile Internet is provided to prevent TCP performance from being deteriorated in a network environment without the alteration of a TCP and an MN(Mobile Node) by a new resequencing algorithm, thereby improving the TCP(Transport Control Protocol) performance. A method for transmitting a packet in the mobile Internet comprises the following steps of: transmitting the packet, transmitted to an MAP(Mobile Anchor Point) from the time when the previous router receives F-BU(Fast Binding Update) from an MN during handover of the MN to the time before the previous router receives local BU from the MN after the handover, to a previous router(411,412,415); transmitting a buffered packet to the MN if an RS(Router Solicitation) message is received after the handover after the new router buffers the packet transmitted from the MAP if the previous router transmits the packet transmitted from the MAP to the new router through tunneling(413,416,417); and transmitting the packet transmitted from the MAP after transmitting the tunneling packet after buffering the packet for UTP(Unstable Time Period) as transmitting the packet transmitted from the previous router through the tunneling after the RS message is received(418,421,422).
