<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment capable of displaying a three-dimensional image of a subject on a displaying coordinate system set by detecting characteristics of the subject and calculating the subject coordinate system. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment is equipped with a three-dimensional image processing means 3 to generate three-dimensional image data from image signals, a reference coordinate system setting means 5 to determine the coordinate system of the three-dimensional image data, a characteristics detecting means 4 to detect the characteristics of the subject from the three-dimensional image data, a subject coordinate system determining means 6 to form the subject coordinate system based on the characteristics detected by the characteristics detecting means 4, a coordinate converting means 7 to generate conversion information for converting a required three-dimensional image from the subject coordinate system to the displaying coordinate system, and a displaying means to display the three-dimensional image data generated by the three-dimensional image processing means 3 as the three-dimensional image.
