<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer of such a type that the printer makes printing by acquiring information from a recording medium such as a memory card, which has an improved transporting property. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the printer printing information acquired from a memory card. There are provided, in the front of the printer: an operating part 10 for selecting and printing information read from the memory card; a tray storage 30 for storing a sheet tray 70 storing a plurality of printing sheets in piles; a memory card storage 20 which the memory card is inserted into; and a tray mounting part 40 for mounting the tray which supplies printing sheets when the printer makes printing.
