<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid suspension of printing, which is done by an operation unit of a user, by another operation unit, without permission of the user during the printing. <P>SOLUTION: This printer can establish radio communication with the plurality of operation units 101 equipped with proper ID information. The printer is provided with the first mode of performing printing processing by collating ID information of a request source with stored ID information when receiving a request from any one of the units 101 during the printing processing, and the second mode of fulfilling operation requests from all the units.
