摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a negative voltage to be applied to a driving transistor with simple circuit constitution. <P>SOLUTION: An electrooptical device 1 is equipped with a plurality of pixel circuits 400 provided corresponding to intersections of scanning lines 101 and data lines 103. Each pixel circuit 400 is equipped with an OLED element 430, a driving transistor 410 composed of an amorphous silicon transistor, a capacity element 420 having one end connected to the gate electrode of the driving transistor 410, a transistor 411 interposed between the gate electrode and source electrode of the driving transistor 410, and a transistor 412 interposed between the other end of the capacity element 420 and a data line 103. While a potential difference is generated across the capacity element 420, the one end of the capacity element 420 is kept in a floating state by turning off the transistor 411 to lower a voltage applied to the other end of the capacity element 420 through the transistor 412. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
