PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener setting system provided with a fastener setting monitoring system and having a remote hydraulic type electric source and a method for acting this fastener setting system. SOLUTION: A rivet setting tool having a motor driving type hydraulic pump is disclosed. The rivet setting tool incorporates a fastener-setting verification system constituted so as to monitor the variation of a pump-driving motor current to determine whether the assembled specific fastener can be permissible or not.
