PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC-DC conversion device, with which the influence of harmonics of the AC power supply currents can be reduced by arranging two sets in parallel. SOLUTION: An three-phase alternating current power supply AC is connected to each arm of diode bridges DOB1 via a reactor Lac1, and a chopper S1, consisting of a switching element, is connected between output terminals of the diode bridge DOB1. Positive and negative polarity bus-bars PB, MB are connected to the output ends of the diode bridges DOB1, via diodes Dp1, Dn1, and DC capacitor C is connected between positive and negative polarity bus-bars PB, MB. A second convertor is also connected to the positive, and negative polarity bus-bars PB, MB via diodes Dp2, Dn2 triangular-wave signals with a phase difference of 180°are supplied to the choppers S1, S2 of a first; and second converters, and the harmonics of an AC power supply current Is can be reduced, by controlling each switching element of the choppers S1, S2 using the triangle-wave signals.
