PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler for a motor which prevents the heat from a load device from being transmitted to the motor by improving the cooling effect of the motor main body and preventing the heat transmission and heat radiation from the load device. SOLUTION: The cooling device for a motor, which is fitted to a load machine storing internally a high temperature medium and rotates fan impellers stirring the high temperature medium, comprises a cooling fan fitted to the motor shaft between the load machine and the motor, and an intermediate attachment mount which is arranged between the cooling fan and the load machine and fitted to the load machine, wherein a protection wall is formed in the outer peripheral position of the cooling fan of the intermediate attachment mount.
