PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile communication system which omits the position calculating process of a mobile to allow the cost to be reduced, and enables the high speed handover with a simple mechanism even when utilizing the radio wave strength. SOLUTION: The system comprises a plurality of ground stations 1a-1d connected in series along a traveling route 12 of a mobile 11, and a host network 16 connected to the ground station 1a. The ground stations 1a-1d do the radio wave radiation control for transmitting information to a mobile terminal 13 in the mobile 11, based on the received radio wave strength from the mobile terminal 13, thereby enabling only one ground station suited to the traveling of the mobile 11 to transmit information to the mobile terminal 13 so as to transmit transmission information transferred from the host network 16 to the mobile terminal 13. For receiving information from the mobile terminal 13 in the mobile 11, the ground stations 1a-1d are always ready for receiving information, thereby transferring received information from the mobile terminal 13 to the host network 16.
