PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for picking up images according to image pickup parameters that are same at right and left right. SOLUTION: On the basis of an image captured by an image pickup unit for a right eye, and/or that captured by one for a left eye, a common image pickup parameter is calculated by the image pickup unit for the right eye and that for the left eye, and the calculated image pickup parameter is set to the image pickup unit for the right eye and that for the left eye.
