PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of enhancing contrast in a simple structure, a manufacturing method of the organic EL device and electronic equipment using the same. SOLUTION: The organic EL device is provided with a barrier rib parts 112 formed on a substrate 2 and zoning each pixel area, a light absorption layer 20 with conductivity formed on each of first electrodes 111 inside the barrier ribs, a light absorption layer 20 with conductivity formed on a top face of each barrier rib part 112, and a light-emitting layer 110b formed above the light absorption layer 20 inside the pixel area. The light absorption layer 20 formed on the first electrode 111 and the light absorption layer 20 formed on the top face of the barrier rib part 112 have an identical structure and a second electrode 12 and the light absorption layer 20 formed on the top face of the barrier rib part 112 are electrically connected with each other.
