PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation device capable of reducing the dimension of a ventilation device body by arranging an outside air cleaning part without sacrificing the arrangement space of an air carrying part including an air supply route and an exhaust route. SOLUTION: This ventilation device is a simultaneous supply and exhaust type ventilation device comprising a main body 1 having an outside air inlet port 7 and an outdoor exhaust port 9 on a first side surface 5, an indoor air supply port 12 provided on a second side surface opposed to the first side surface 5, and an indoor air suction port 17 provided on a lower surface; an air supply fan 3 and an exhaust fan 4 to be driven by a motor 21 which are arranged in an upper portion and a lower portion in the ventilation device body having a substantially rectangular solid shape; and a filter 7 for removing the dust of outside air provided in the upstream of the air supply fan 3. The filter 27 is arranged so as to surround the lower suction part of an air supply casing 15, whereby the main body of the ventilation device can be compactly constituted in a substantially square shape while ensuring an easy constructing property.
