PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved technology for a paved road surface for preventing melted snow water oozing out from a snow bank excluded on a shoulder of a road by snow removing work from flowing into a vehicle passing-through section securely and preventing the road surface from being frozen. SOLUTION: This water drain type paved road is constituted by cutting in and forming a vertical channel 4 for draining water reaching the inside of a water drain pipe 3 in the ground from the vicinity of a partitioning line 13 for indicating road surface just above the water drain pipe 3 for the water drain pipe 3 buried in a position having predetermined depth along the partitioning line 13 for indicating road surface of the paved road 1 for vehicle and connected with or opened for a water drain path 14 adequately, guiding snow melted water W melted from the snow bank S excluded on a road side zone 12 side by snow removing work and oozing out onto a vehicle passing-through section 11 side into the water drain pipe 3 through the vertical channel 4 for draining water, and draining the snow melted water into the water drain path 14 quickly to keep a road surface of the vehicle passing-through section 11 in a dry condition and prevent the road surface from being frozen.
