PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure wherein a column stands on a horizontal member 3 placed on a concrete foundation, so as to effectively reinforce a compression resisting force of the horizontal member for preventing crashing flatly. SOLUTION: An upper and a lower through holes 3a are formed in the horizontal member 3 and also a pressure resisting pin 11 is inserted into the upper/lower through holes 3a. A lower pressure-receiving plate 9 contacting the lower end of the pressure resisting pin 11 is made to face the concrete foundation while an upper pressure-receiving plate 10 facing to the upper end of the pressure resisting pin 11 is made to face a undersurface of a broad-depth column 8. The broad-in-depth column 8 is a column having a longer dimension L in a depth as compared with a dimension W in a width direction. The concrete foundation is higher than that of a standard type (the standard is 400 mm whereas the embodiment is 800 mm).
