PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify attaching operation of a differential screw adjusting the space between a coating head and a slit. SOLUTION: A coating head comprises a pair of lip members 11, 12 forming a slit 13 facing arranged with an interval, a flow passage of a coating liquid installed interconnecting the slit, a notch groove 15 formed along the extending direction of the slit in the side surface of the one lip member, the differential screw 16 engaged to a foot part 11a of the lip member pinching the notch groove and 11b. The outer screw of a lead screw of the differential screw is threaded into a screw hole 17 formed by penetrating the foot part of the lip member, the tip end of a machine screw 16b of the differential screw is threaded into a cylindrical nut 18, a hole 19 which is inserted with the nut 18 is formed at the tip end part of the lip member, a screw hole 20 formed from the side surface of the tip end part toward the hole 19, and a setscrew 21 is screwed into the screw hole 20 to fix the machine screw 16b to a lip part.
