PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for synchronizing a collection of home devices with contents. SOLUTION: This is a synchronization controller in a network comprising a plurality of devices which synchronize contents between contents obtained in the network and those on other devices. When the synchronization controller identifies a device which tries to synchronize its contents with those of a home network, the controller tries to match contents of the device with those obtained in the home network. If they do not match, a means for managing contents starts a contents session to transfer the contents to the home network from the device or vise versa.
